Brand New 15' Canadian Open Canoe, ready to paddle and finished in unique Brilliant Golden Orange metalflake gel coat, hand laminated GRP composite lightweight strong hull thats been ribbed for extra strength, GRP decks with oiled hardwood (redwood) gunwales and fitted with two seats & yoke. These canoes can be lifted onto a car roof rack by one person and are a joy to paddle by either one or two people. I've gone back to the more traditional method of hull mounting the seats rather than gunwale mounting them, as I feel it looks a lot cleaner and IMO seems to suit this model canoe better than gunwale mounting them, which was the way I used to do it on this model. I also sell these as a bare hull for DIY fitting out, a part built canoe with gunwales fitted but no seats, a bare hull with just seats fitted, or a one off custom build to your spec. We manufacture these canoes and build our own plugs & moulds, there is no middle men to deal with. The great thing about GRP composite canoes is they can be kept outside all year round without any problems, the stainless steel gunwale screws can be left tight and will not have to be loosened even through the harshest of winter months. These canoes are built to last for many years, but should you be unfortunate to damage one in any way, it can be easy repaired by the novice, unlike many mass produced plastic models. We keep all GRP materials, fixings and gunwale timber in stock should you ever require it.
