with new lens  "Helios-103" f/1.8/53 mm

It is a miniature range-finder camera for 35-mm film in a standard cassette type 135, frame size 24 x 36 mm.
The interchangeable lens has a bayonet mount type "Contax-Nikon". The camera has the "Helios-103" f/1.8/53 mm lens, 6 lenses in 3 elements, 45° angular field of view, light filter mating thread M40.5 x 0.5. "Helios-103" lens intended for the "Kiev-4" camera have no focusing mount, as the internal bayonet*. These lenses are used from "infinity" to 0.9m with the help of a range-finder or distance scale. The field of shot taken from a 0.9-m distance covers approximately 37 x 55 cm.
The metal focal plane shutter has speeds from 1/2 to 1/1000, or 1/1250 s and "B", "X" synchronization at 1/25 s, and independent self-timer. Exposure parameters are set manually in compliance with readings of a built-in (independent) selenium photocell exposure meter capable of measuring brightness from 8 to 40000 cd/m2. The telescopic view-finder has x0.9 magnification and is coupled with the range-finder having 90 mm base. Film transport and shutter winding are coupled together and effected by turning the winding knob.
The exposure counter has manual setting of the first frame.
The rewinding knob should be kept depressed during the entire rewinding period. Exposed film is rewound back in the cassette with the help of a rewinding handwheel. Camera construction allows to use special metal two-cylinder cassettes with an opening slit,-and also to transport the film from one cassette into another without subsequent rewinding. The camera has a removable back cover and measures 74 x 90 x 150 mm.

* Short-focus and long-focus interchangeable lenses are mounted on the external bayonet.

 All features have been tested by professional repairman and work properly.
Camera in excellent condition.  All shutter speeds looks appropriate. Viewfinder is clean. 
Self-timer works.
Camera is easy to operate and because of a simple design is very reliable.
