These are ALUMINIUM camshaft locking blocks for the 1.8 and 2.0 (16 Valve) Twinspark engines used in ALFA 145, 146, 147, 155 &156 (and new type Tspark GTV and Spider) models. (16 Valve)

You need these blocks to change the cam belt on these engines, as the variator cannot be used to hold the engine at the correct timing position.  They are a genuine ALFA part that must be used when changing the camshaft to avoid catastrophic engine failure if the timing is out of phase from an incorrectly set camshaft.

Important:  These are genuine aircraft grade aluminium cam locking blocks.  There are several fake versions circulating on ebay made out of epoxy resin glue or chemical metal.  You can see these as they have a blurry picture so you cannot really see what they are.
