FOR SALE :  Up for Sale is for one healthy (1) medium size plant of “Calathea Crotalifera (Green Rattle Snake)” of about 10”-12” tall.  As this is a mature plant division, it will be much easier to grow after planting care.

This is an attractive evergreen tropical shrub that produces a very striking inflorescence that resemblance the real thing – rattlesnake’s rattler shaped bract that made it called “Rattlesnake’s Calathea”. This Green Rattlesnake is a more common species.

It usually grows to a high of 4-5 feet tall. This calathea has interwoven bracts of 5” to 10” long and 2” to 3” wide and adorned with small white flowers that peek out throughout the bracts. It leaves is normally come with a very intricate pattern! It prefers moist soil and partial shade, and will bloom in pot. It has four major colours rattlesnake which are pink, golden yellow, green and orange –red.

It is best to keep it protected during its first year for better and faster growth.

The rhizome will be trim to a height of 30 - 35cm long, bare-root and wrapped in coconut fibres for easy packing and shipping.
