This is a very rare cWW11 period hand carved model of Sir Winston Churchill.It is rare in that it has been beautifully carved by Prisoners Of War and then hand painted.I have taken a close up photo of the quality of carving to his head even the trousers have creases and folds which add to the lifelike detail.It is in an excellent original condition and measures 22.5cm tall x 8.8cm across the base and 7cm wide from elbow to elbow.
