This auction is for a Cotswoldsport Flexi Lozenge Beval Bit

This bit has so many options and makes it a very versatile

  • Use no hooks = normal snaffle
  • Use one hook on the cheek piece = mild baucher action
  • Use one hook on the rein = tongue and lower jaw action
  • Use both hooks = some poll pressure
  • Use gag cheeks threaded through = running gag

The synthetic material of this bit is manufactured as an apple mouth, (but it doesn't appear to smell of apple). This is slightly softer to the touch than a Happy mouth, but not quite as nice as an expensive nathe bit.

This bit has a stainless steel core, so is very safe and is unable to snap in the mouth. However like all synthetic bits, they can be chewed. The mouthpeice is 18mm.
