The Creek OBH21 is a high-quality headphone pre-amplifier, with the ability to drive two pairs of headphones simultaneously.
It connects from the line output of a source (such as a CD player, personal audio player or tape output of an amplifier) and will reveal what your headphones are capable of in a way that most "built-in" headphone outputs cannot feasibly match.
Direct replacements for the successful OBH-11/11SE these latest headphone amplifiers from creek have been restyled with a brushed silver front panel and increased case depth, to keep in style with the rest of the Creek family of products. Both amplifiers now feature two headphone sockets.
The OBH-21 SE can also be used in conjunction with other Creek OBH series products, such as Phono pre-amplifiers or the passive pre-amplifier. Furthermore, it also functions with a stand-alone pre-amplifier or integrated amplifier without headphone output, connected in the tape loop.
The cosmetic difference between the OBH-21 and its predecessor the OBH-11 is striking. Featuring a 50% longer case, the new models have a solid 5mm brushed silver anodised aluminium front panel with black printing. The OBH-21 SE miniature audio amplifier is the ideal way to enjoy your favourite music in privacy.
SE Means Special Edition
The OBH-21SE is the high-end Special Edition of Creek's OBH21 headphone amp. It uses more expensive components throughout its construction along with an especially robust external power supply. High-current capability along with exceptionally quiet operation and resultant low THD makes the OBH-21SE a significant upgrade over the standard OBH-21.
The OBH-21 and OBH-21SE are compatible with any source at line level. For example: an average output level CD player can be connected directly to the input of the OBH-21/21SE, just as it could also be used in conjunction with a stand-alone pre-amplifier or integrated amplifier which doesn't have a headphone output.
The OBH-21 SE is not designed to be connected to the high level speaker output of an integrated or power amplifier. Output level is controlled by the high quality volume control on the front panel.

The OBH-Uni is a 15 Watt high-efficiency multi-region power supply adaptor that replaces the OBH-1 and OBH-2.
Creek has designed this to simplify the requirements for OBH products used in all countries. It is supplied with a selection of snap-on power plugs and since it is capable of working from a range of mains voltages from 100 – 240V’s, we are confident it will make life a lot easier for everyone.
We have compared the performance with that of the OBH-2 and feel that it is a good replacement. Furthermore, since it no longer works at mains frequencies (50-60Hz) it will not interfere with high gain circuits like the Phono amplifiers and it also does not draw current when connected to the mains but not being used.
