Large .Tif Scans + .Jpg Too!
The average 30mb .tif files can be used with a large format printer. They can also happily be downsized too using photo editing software to, say, 300dpi at approx 9 x 12 inches physically!
Like most others in our country-photochrom collections it now has the added flexibility of having two file formats included on the same disks - restored/enhanced 10x7in .jpg's as well as our giant un-restored (average around 30mb file size) original .tif scans. The latter are a little larger in physical size too (see details on left) and our versions can readily be manipulated with simple photo editing software. See Terms of Use below.
