Reflective heat shield 3000° protection perfect for protecting turbos and intercoolers from radiant heat. Engine components, Firewall, exhaust pipes, header blankets, since it has such a high heat resistance it has more uses and applications then the Ceramic wrap or other reflective barriers.

The original Exhaust Insulating Wrap was JUST developed this year 2009 after several years of research and testing by Thermo-Tec. Exhaust Insulating Wrap is an innovative way to create more horsepower and reduce under-hood temperatures.

This is the latest technology direct from uses in Aerospcae this is a very similar weave and composit used in the latest generation space craft to protect against heat and cold in the vacuum of space with the toughness to deal with hyper sonic impacts from cosmic debris.



Wrapping headers maintains hotter exhaust gases that exit the system faster through decreased density. Increased exhaust scavenging is produced, along with lower intake temperatures. Exhaust Insulating Wrap withstands continuous heat up to 3000°, and contains no asbestos.

Thermo-Tec exhaust wrap will not over-insulate a system when properly installed due to a proprietary coating developed by Thermo-Tec - Thermal Conduction Technology (TCT) - that conducts heat across the wrap's surface. This coating controls heat build-up and dissipation.
