COMMEMORATIVE VINTAGE WOOLWORK OF THE QUEENS JUBILEE/ 1977
This is SO neat. I think the person who did it must have been a bit overwhelmed by the whole Jubilee thing, and thought "Now, what can I make to commemorate it. Something special. Ah I know - a needlework picture!" And here it is. You know, I can't know this for certain, of course, but I bet there isn't another like it. At the top there is Buckingham Palace, underneath the emblems for England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, and under that is the golden coach and the horses trotting in front. It has a fantastic floral deep border all the way round and says "Queen Elizabeth II, 1952 - 1977 Silver Jubilee" and at the bottom the person's name, Bea, and the date, ll X1 77.
It is perfect, is in a maple frame, and measures 17in x 14.75in (43cm x 37.5cm).

But please remember that there is normal wear and tear, and it is not always possible to show that. We take a great deal of trouble over transporting our items, whether they are large or small. The large pieces of furniture, which go by road, are carefully handled by expert delivery drivers and the smaller pieces are packed very carefully, with lots of packing materials - the more fragile they are, the more packing and care they receive.
