A large Edwardian vintage wooden pine shop counter display box (empty) with very attractive pictorial COLMAN'S STARCH paper label to the underside of the lid,which has a wire hinge.The front and ends of the box are stamped J.& J.COLMANS PATENT NO.1 LONDON STARCH etc.Slight staining to the interior base.
SIZE: 18.25" (47 cms) x 10.75" (27.25 cms) x 5.75" (14.5 cms) high.
CONDITION: Very good condition for a piece of 100 years old packaging.The picture gives a fair representation of condition.
