I have here a stoneware flagon in blue and stone, with a painting of grouse or pheasant each side, and the main picture signed 'P.E. Alexander'. The backstamp reads A. LINDISFARNE MEAD CO. PRODUCTION, and the empty jar measures 6" (15.5cm) high to the top of the ceramic stopper with cork seal. At its widest, it measures 4" (10.5cm), and is offered in very good condition without any damage.
