Investigators had a suspect but were unable to link Wallace to her suspected killer. It was not until 10 years later that the murderer was finally convicted.

*THE TORTURED TRUTH .......  This episode of 'Cold Case Files' examines the disturbing case of Joe Clark, a troubled youth with a penchant for torture. In 1995 he abducted 13 year old Thad phillips, took him home, and broke his ankles, legs and knees. But after 43 hours, he made the mistake of leaving Thad alone, enabling the injured boy to be able to call the police.
