This is a real value for money kit, our Cobra 800 value pack includes one pair of bike to bike intercoms plus 2 closed face headsets and we even include a pair of VOX adaptors for the headsets !
The Cobra 800 kit is not just for bikes however, it has a couple of addons which make it suitable for other applications too.
In addition to the bike headsets there is an extra pair of earbud earpiece / microphones for general use which allow you to use the Cobra 800s as 2 way radios off bike. The 800s also incorporate a useful baby sitter monitor function for home use.
The radios are license free and feature up to 968 privacy combinations which are user selectable.
The units can be set for either manual PTT operation or our VOX adaptor enables you to use hands free voice operation.
There are 10 selectable call alert tones and a switchable Roger Beep, the Cobra 800s have a full backlit LCD display plus a useful battery / power saver for standby.
Keylock enables you to fix a channel setting and prevent accidental channel switching.
The battery low indicator shows battery status and there is a twin output mains charger to keep the batteries in peak condition, batteries are supplied and are long life rechargeable NiMH type.
The combination headsets include boom microphones and the earpieces are supplied as twin low profile pads which are Velcro fastened inside the helmet. You can specify either an open or closed face boom mike which again fastens securely inside the helmet.
The headsets have detachable long leads with a handlebar PTT attachment.
There is even a VOX adaptor with both headsets which can replace the manual PTT switch and allow hands free voice operation.
Please note we supply the more commonly used closed face sets unless specified otherwise at time of ordering.
