Father Christmas has a little refreshment courtesy of the Milkman in this charming Coalport scene, limited to 3000. 

The Father Christmas children's books by Raymond Briggs were written in the 1970s but are just as relevant to today's readers as they were over 30 years ago.

In one of the books, Father Christmas Goes On Holiday, the much loved character takes a well earned vacation. His trusty reindeer take him to France, Las Vegas - and would you believe it, they even stopped off in Scotland. Perhaps they wanted to visit St Andrews and drop into James Pirie's for a spot of souvenir shopping!

The Coalport series of figures really do justice to the characters in Briggs' books. Children of all ages will love these figurines as much as the books themselves.
