An exceptional example of Clypeus ploti. From the Middle Jurassic, Gloucester, England. Approx. 175,000,000 years old. A good sized specimen measuring 3" across (5.5" x 3" x 2.6" with matrix). Superb preservation throughout. A good solid, and fascinating displayable piece. The Clypeus remains on its original matrix (it hasnt been glued back on). 100% genuine and natural. These are a very rare fossil indeed!
