(You do not need to convert any currency Paypal will do all the hard work for you :-)  Just follow the checkout procedure and your US$ will be deducted from your Paypal account and sent to us in UK£ to our Paypal account.)

Each listing will offer the buyer the choice of the following postal options:

2nd Class Standard - uninsured

1st Class Standard - uninsured

Recorded Delivery (1st or 2nd Class) - We recommend that you choose this option to fully insure your parcel against loss/damage. If you purchase this option we guarantee to replace or refund your order should it get lost or be damaged in transit.

Special Delivery - Guarantees next day delivery before 1pm and insures your item up to the value of £500.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:

Standard Airmail - uninsured & no tracking provided.

International Signed-For Airmail - This provides a Tracking Number and fully insures your order against loss/damage. If you choose this option we guarantee to replace or refund your order should it get lost or damaged in transit. Our Royal Mail charge a flat fee of £3.75 on top of the normal postage charge for this service.

Duty/Customs charges are the responsibilty of the Buyer. We declare the actual value of goods purchased - please do not ask us to 'Tick Gift' or declare a lower value - we are a Business and as such have standards to uphold and procedures to follow.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POSTAGE PRICE ALSO CONTAINS A SMALL HANDLING FEE WHICH COVERS OUR TIME & COSTS (materials, petrol, hourly rate etc). IT IS NOT JUST THE PRICE OF A STAMP. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE DO NOT MAKE ANY PROFIT FROM THE POSTAGE COSTS, IT SIMPLY HELPS TO GO TOWARDS THE TRANSACTION COSTS.

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we get asked which may help you before you decide to purchase from us:

'Q' - How soon will you post out my order?

'A' - We usually dispatch all orders on the same/next day of your purchase. We dispatch daily Monday to Friday.

'Q' - I used to have a favourite lipstick but I think its been discontinued as I can't buy it in the shops any longer.  Can you get hold of it for me please?

'A' - As we have suppliers in the U.S.A. it is quite possible that we may be still be able to get hold of an item that has been discontinued in the U.K. but is still a current range in the U.S. The stores in the US tend to still sell items for 12/36 month after it disappears off our shelves in the UK. So please send us any requests and we will do our utmost to source the product for you.

'Q' - Do you only sell to Buyers from the U.K.?

'A' - No, the majority of our auctions are available to Buyers Worldwide. Certain items may be restricted or prohibited, but each auction will specify its 'post to' locations so check each page for details. If you do not see your location specified, please drop us a line and we will be glad to help if at all possible.

'Q' - Do you offer postage discounts if I want to buy more than one of your auction items?

'A' - Yes we do!! Please let us know which items you are looking to buy BEFORE making any purchases. Many of our listings require immediate payment and as such we will need to amend this for you, so that you can buy all the items you want to from us and then we can send you a combined invoice for one single payment included combined postage.

'Q' - There are so many fake products being sold on eBay at the moment, how do I know that the one you are selling here is genuine?

'A' - Our Feedback Rating and long standing Business reputation should hopefully speak for itself.  Please be assured that all of our products our 100% Genuine and authentic. Here at Effi's cosmetics we only ever buy from reputable suppliers and NEVER sell fake products.

'Q' - I am a German Buyer looking to purchase an unboxed lipstick from you, but your listing states that you cannot sell it me....why not???

'A' - Germany's Customs Law state that it is not permitted to import any item which is either trial sized or not in its original packaging. Many of the products we sell come unpackaged or may be trial size and so are not for sale to buyers from Germany. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but it is beyond our jurisdiction.

'Q' - I bought a lipstick from Effi's Cosmetics because it looked nice in your photo, but when I received it I have found that it doesn't quite suit me. Please can I return it to you for a refund?

'A' - We are sorry but for reasons of Health & Hygiene we are unable to accept returns of Beauty Products, unless they are faulty, damaged or wrongly advertised. We therefore request that you visit your local Beauty Store and use the demonstration products and testers to find out if a product is suitable for you to purchase before buying from us. Shades vary immensely from one p.c. to another due to computer settings so please do not rely on the photo alone. We always try our best to get shade accuracy when taking the photos, and we will always describe the product accurately in the listing. Please feel free to contact us if you need any help at all in deciding your purchase - we are always happy to help whenever possible.

'Q' - Your auction says 'Immediate Paypal payment required' and I really want the item, but I do not have a Paypal account. Can I please still buy the item?

'A' - If you are a U.K. Buyer then yes you can pay by the alternative method of a cheque or postal order (please see Payment Options above). Please just drop us a line and we will amend the payment options on the listing for you.

'Q' - My order hasn't arrived yet, what should I do?

'A' - UK Buyers - Delivery times can vary from 1-7 days depending upon service chosen. If your order was posted by Recorded Delivery, please email us and we will check the Royal Mail website with the Tracking Number to see where your parcel is. It may be that the postman has attempted to deliver your order whilst you were out and has failed to leave a calling card. In this instance your parcel will be held at your local sorting office so please ring and check to be sure. Please collect within 7 days as your order will then be returned to us, and we will have to charge further postage costs to you for a second posting. If it wasn't sent with a Tracking Number you can still check at your local sorting office in case the order was too big to go through your letter box.

'A' - International Buyers - Airmail can take between 5-14 days. Unless you have purchased the International Signed For Insurance option we will not be able to track your parcel for you and it will not be insured against loss or damage. We strongly recommend that you opt for this Insurance for the more expensive items.
