This auction is for a PRC351 VHF FM Manpack set, C/W ALL AUDIO GEAR AND ANTENNA'S. The radio cosmetically is in very good condition and appearance. It has been tested and is in perfect working order. It is mounted on a Para style lightweight carrying frame in good condition with a good clean  harness/straps, comes with a serviceable and a charged rechargeable battery. This set was used for ground to ground communications, mobile and fixed and was the main unit for the infantry. It was the backbone of infantry communications on and off the battlefield. It has a good range across open countryside. It covers 30Mhz to 79.975Mhz with 25Khz channel spacing and 4 Watts output. The headset, pressel box and lead along with the handset are all tested and in working order. There are also 2 antennas, a 4 section 1.2m folding steel whip and a 0.65m flexible rubber whip.
