This auctio is for a UK RT 344 - PRC344 UHF Manpack set, C/W AUDIO GEAR. The radio is fair to good in appearance. It has been tested and is working OK AND ON SPEC@ 2WATT OUTPUT. It is mounted on the correct GS carrying frame adapter plate  and is mounted on a good serviceable GS carrier, comes with a battlefield whip antenna, a serviceable and charged NiCad battery and audio gear. This set was used mainly for ground to air support or air recon. A few selected units used it for ground to ground coms. It covers 220Mhz to 399.950Mhz in 50Khz channel spacing. This is the military air band and is still widely used so there are many military sites to listen out for. The headset, pressel box and lead along with the handset are all tested and working. 

 

Post and packing within mainland UK (which is, Wales, England and Scotland) will be £20 via Parcel2go (DHL) or Parcel Force 48, whichever is the cheaper. I can post worldwide, please ask for a quote if you are outside UK mainland.

                               This setup weighs in at a little over 16Kg
