CITROEN 2CV 2 CV 2CV6 CLUB RARE MODEL!

 Welcome to the auction for my RARE 2CV CLUB. This colour of "cuivre indiene" was only available for a couple of years in the early eighties. I bought it 9 mths ago and was going to use it untill November 4th when the MOT runs out. It is also taxed till the end of November. I was then going to take it off the road and do a full restoration but circumstances and lack of space mean it will now be sold. Not that it needs a full restoration but that was going to be my choice. It already has a GALVANISED CHASSIS, the floors seem very strong as does the inner bulkhead. I think the outer one will require a couple of plates for now or replacing. I have shown the worst areas in the pics but notice the windscreen panel which is great and must have at some time been done.
Mechanically the gearbox is great but the engine is a bit clattery although sounds good when doing 65mph and smooth. May be the tin work, Im no expert so you decide. The tyres are nearly new  and I recently had a "MATTS SOFT TOP" AT A COST OF £165
It has no major dents but lots of scratches here and there.
The car has the full CLUB/CHARLESTON type door panels/dash/steering wheel (single spoke) etc. The interior is scruffy underneath the grey seat covers which are ok. The bumpers are ropy too but cheap to replace via ECAS or CASSIS  etc.
Yes the car is what I would call burnt orange but on the log book it states brown which was Citroen's choice and is correct.
To conclude unfortunately the car has to go and I have listed all the faults which I know of but its 28yrs old and there may be many more so please view if you can before bidding.
Bidding is a commitment to buy and by the end of auction there will be no MOT so the car will need to be transported away within 7 days of end of auction. Bidding starts at £165 which is what I paid only 8 weeks ago for the new roof. It will sell to the highest bidder, it's NOT advertised elsewhere.
I have lots of spares, some particular to the club model (i.e nearly new headlights square) which I will offer to the winner at fair prices if they require them. This auction is for the car only and if the winner isn't interested in any spares, they will be listed on E Bay shortly afterwards

I have just been asked, and it is a disc brake gearbox and 1981 was the "crossover" year which makes this 2cv CLUB even rarer apparently.
