This item is a complete set of 64 standard size Original Trade Cards issued by D.C.Thomson in 1958 on the subject of World Cup Footballers. To make up the 64 cards there are four batches of 16 cards which were issued within the 4 periodicals The 'Wizard', The 'Adventure', The 'Rover' and The 'Hotspur'. This is a highly priced Catalogue set. Some of the World Cup Footballers included are as follows:- Dave Mackay, Jimmy Greaves, Alan Hodgkinson, Mel Hopkins, Bobby Robson, Harry Gregg, Ron Stitfall, Tommy Docherty, Johnny Haynes, John Charles, Billy Wright, Tom Finney, Billy Bingham, Dave Bowen, Jimmy McIlroy, Terry Medwin and many others. Career Information is printed on the backs of the cards in red.

CONDITION: VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT
