His secretary's sister runs a students' hostel in the Hickory Road and a series of thefts is causing concern… Another wonderful tale of mystery and mayhem from the Queen of the whodunit. The little man with the egg-shaped head exercises his little grey cells, and the bad guys had better watch out! Dust jacket has additional protective plastic film - folded not glued or pinned. Book club edition. Am unable to identify an earlier version, so this may have gone straight to book club and could be a true first - not claimed as not sure! Jacket has some wear and chipping. Small mark on front cover. Gently sunned, else clean and tidy in good plus condition.
