Pretty vintage style christening gown, circa 1950-1960's I should imagine. White polyester/cotton top layer slightly semi-sheer, under layer is nylon finished with single lace edging. Round neckline finished with bound seam and single frill of lace, back opening with two buttons. High yoke bodice lots of gathers and single band of eyelet lace and satin ribbon.  Layers of lace to skirt eack layer has an extra layer of lace ending with four rows to the bottom hem. Lovely little gown in very good condition, one tiny mark on the back of yoke will most probably be easily removed. May be home made, but well made, as there is no labels inside.

Measurements:-          underarm 13" straight across yoke Length 26"
