You are bidding for a CLASSIC UK 50'S TRAD JAZZ 78 RPM single by CHRIS BARBER'S JAZZ BAND called CHIMES BLUES backed with MERRYDOWN RAG issued on the DECCA record label in the UK in 1954, cat number F 10417. The record is in vg condition with excellent labels .The record has ovious wear with surface scuffs and scratches but plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. CLASSIC UK TRAD JAZZ/ BLUES from CHRIS BARBER with two great tracks. CHRIS BARBERS BAND was one of the most influential featuring bango player LONNIE DONEGAN, and along with KEN COLYER introduced SKIFFLE to the UK  and was to have the first big SKIFFLE hit when ROCK ISLAND LINE was taken from BARBER's NEW ORLEANS JOYS album.. RARE in decent condition, from my own collection.
