The following information is important
MIDI FILES. WHAT THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY ARE NOT!!!
The Midi Files supplied by me are on a CD, which you should save to your PC. They can then be transferred onto a 3.5“ floppy disk for use with external keyboard sequencers, midi file players etc. Equally, they can be played on a PC with suitable software. They will play on most media, for example, even Windows Media Player, but you will not be able to view lyrics with WMP. They will play perfectly well using the free downloadable Karaoke player from www.vanbasco.com where you can view the lyrics
Please remember that these are not the same as Karaoke Sunfly CD+G’s. They are primarily Professional Midi Files with lyrics and will play on most PC based karaoke software. They will also play on some external karaoke machines – but not all - and you should always ask for a sample first before purchasing to make sure they play on an external karaoke machine if that is what you desire
Ideally, of course they can also play with the likes of Cakewalk software with the lyrics showing on Track 4. You can also edit the midi file with the likes of Cakewalk – key changes, programme changes, track mute/delete, adjusting controller data, etc
Please remember also that VanBasco or any software for that matter only facilitates the playing of midi karaoke files; such software is not responsible for the sound quality produced. I have had some customers who seem to think that Vanbasco is responsible for the sound produced. This is certainly not the case. If you are playing them through your PC, the quality is dependent on how good the PC’s sound card is. Obviously, the better the sound source the better the midi file will sound. Play them through an old beaten up PC then probably the end result will not be as good as a newer PC. Play them through a half decent PA system via a midi keyboard/midi file player, or a mini disc player if you have transferred the data, then these are the Rolls Royce of midi karaoke backing tracks – absolutely no question
MY CLEAR ADVICE IS THIS!! If you have any questions just ask. If you are new to Midi Karaoke files, make sure you know what it is you are purchasing. Ask for samples FIRST and I will provide a few free songs
A few other things to note
There are no backing vocals on these. All the music is strictly instrumentalisation including the melody line and harmonies. Many buy these for backing tracks for their live duos, etc, and many will delete tracks they don't want; eg a guitar player may not want to play along or over the main guitar track in the song. Likewise, vocalists will always want to delete/mute the melody line. Some like to change the key etc to suit their own voices, and so on
They are primarily professional midi files and are best played through dedicated speaker/PA systems or Midi File Players, or Midi Keyboards with good quality sound systems. The quality output is wholly dependent on the quality of your PC's sound card

There are NO vocals or backing vocals on any of these
