CHAMPAGNE MARMITE Limited Edition I LOVE YOU - No. 23

CHAMPAGNE MARMITE was made for St. Valentine's Day 2008 in a Limited Edition of 600,000 250g. jars. It is no longer available in shops and has all either been consumed or fallen into the hands of eBay sellers.

Each pot has a "lucky number" up to 40 cast into the bottom (just visible in the top photo, above). These have been very popular for birthdays and other anniversaries.

The "Best Before" date on all Champagne Marmite is July 2009, but as everyone knows, Marmite lasts forever, even if you open it. They are required by law to put something, and they quite rightly assumed it would all have been sold by then.

Don't expect to get high on this stuff: the proportion of champagne is tiny, but it is supposed to taste slightly different, and should be quite a treat for Marmite addicts.

This one has the number shown in the Title Line (see aboive) but I have got other numbers for sale, so if you'd like a different one, please look at my other items, or just ask me.
