K2 Challenger Inflatable 2 Person Kayak
This is a superb brand new, boxed, inflatable 2 person kayak set. The set includes the 11.5 foot long kayak, two 7 foot long double aluminium paddles, a high output pump to inflate the kayak, and a repair patch. The whole set fits into the tough nylon storage
bag which is also included, making it easy to transport the kayak to the water.
Constructed of rugged 30 gauge SUPER-TOUGH™ PVC, an
extremely strong and durable plastic material that is impervious to petrol, oil and salt water. This is a much thicker gauge of plastic than comparable boats in this price range. The strong molecular structure of this
plastic makes it highly resistant to damage from abrasion, impact and
sunlight. This special PVC plastic material also allows higher inflation
pressure for greater rigidity while maintaining the PVC material's
natural flexibility.
The K2 has a great range of unique features:
- Bright graphics for high visibility while on the water.
- Low-profile design that is well suited for lakes, mild rivers and calm ocean conditions
- Streamlined design makes it easier to paddle than other "canoe" shaped inflatable kayaks.
- Hard plastic skegs on the underside of the kayak (similar to the fins
on a surfboard) provide directional control making navigation of the
kayak simpler.
- The cockpit is not cramped and includes two adjustable, inflatable seats with comfortable backrests.
- The I-beam inflatable floor enhances the craft's bow-to-stern rigidity and improves comfort.
- The main hull chamber has two quick fill valves for fast inflation and deflation.
- The 84" paddle blades can be rotated and locked in place to suit individual paddling stroke styles.
- Each 84" paddle breaks down conveniently for easy storage in the nylon carrying bag.
- The K2 kayak has been assigned a U.S. Coast Guard I.D. and
the K2 is certified by the National Marine Manufacturer's Association
(NMMA) as well as being TUV approved in the European Community.
