For auction is a World War II 25 cents note issued by the Government of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) - P44b. It has a portrait of King George VI at the centre & is dated 1.3.1947 with the serial No. A/54 941609 on the back. The note has just a light centre fold & very light mark on the back. Overall, a very clean attractive note, still feels crisp. Very collectable.
