A little information about the Pyramid String Company.

The Company was formed in 1850 at Schonburg, Austria and is still owned by the same family.  In 1948, Pyramid established a new factory in West Germany.  The Company's knowledge about material qualities and basic principles of acoustics (in combination with skilful workers and sophisticated electronic equipment) enables them to construct strings for a wide range of modern and historical instruments.  The product became very successful and turnover expanded rapidly.  Pyramid strings were sold in more than 100 countries throughout the World.
