Facade is a CD featuring the music of William Walton played by the world famous Black Dyke brass band.

The Black Dyke brass band have long been pioneers in the brass band world, ever exploring new horizons. This CD is surely one of the band's most adventurous!

The music of William Walton translates so well to a brass band especially when the band in question is Black Dyke and the arrangements have been made by Ted Watson. The title track is the famous Facade, one of Walton's masterpieces, with narration by Lady Walton and Richard Baker (of BBC News fame). This performance will leave you spellbound in both the beauty of the music and the humour of the spoken word.

Walton's film scores are legendary and included on this disc is one of his finest, Richard III.
