Here I offer for the first time ( 03.10.09 ) a cd containing 800 high resolution scans ( 300dpi) , produced from old / original black & white photos / negs .

Most of the photos are of steam trains ,although approx 30-40 show old signal boxes / stations . There are also approx 20 scans of the Cheadle Hulme train crash in 1964 ( I have the original negatives ) . Photos were taken throughout Britain ...LMS & LNER especially well represented .

The photos were taken between the 1930s -60s . Over the years I have bought several collections and albums ...this cd contains them all . Approx 40% have a written title .

PLEASE NOTE ...I HAVE PREVIOUSLY OFFERED THESE IMAGES ON 7 DIFFERENT CDS ...IN AN ATTEMPT TO OFFER BETTER VALUE FOR MONEY ,I HAVE NOW DECIDED TO PUT THEM ALL ON THE ONE CD .
