This is a Kit for a GWR 55XX prairie tank with sloping tanks. This was a body kit made by CCW Engineering of Birmingham. Chassis has been bought separately as have other extras. Kit has coarse scale wheels, motor and gears are required.
Most of parts are nickel silver with some white metal castings such as chimney, dome etc. Instructions - a little basic - are included.
I understand the kit was originally bought in the seventies by a gentleman who stockpiled kits but never got round to making them - umhh............ guilty as charged!!
Good project - would make a decent loco.
