CCT SILHOUETTE ZOOM profile - 1,000 watt STAGE SPOTLIGHT

Traditionally termed a “Sil 15”, this is a nice narrow-focus 1kW profile spot with zoom lenses.  These are fairly large and heavy lanterns, but have to be to accommodate the necessary large lenses and long lens tube.

The zoom lenses enable the beam to be focussed either soft or hard edged with variable angle – nominally 15 degrees, this is probably adjustable from about 10 degrees to 25 degrees.

This could be used as a followspot – the yoke can be repositioned underneath and fitted with a spigot to mount the lantern on a stand.  You would probably need to fit a handle on the back and buy a drop-in iris (not included but available from CCT in Nottingham), but the iris may not be essential due to the narrow focus and zoom lenses.

Well used, but in fairly good condition (the lenses are as good as new), this is fully working and ready to use, complete with:

·     Standard hook clamp and fastener

·     Safety wire

·     15 amp plug

·     Colour frame

·     4 shutters

·     Working lamp (bulb)

Spare bulbs (T11 or T19) are easily available from any theatre lamp supplier and are relatively inexpensive.

This was a very expensive spotlight when new – the current list price for an equivalent CCT 15 degree Silhouette is well over £500!
