One of the dangers of being a print publisher in the computer world is that real-world changes happen all the time. Just as this book was coming off press (in late September) CISCO changed the number of questions on the test. Please note that they did not change the objectives...we have checked with the Cisco certification folks this week (mid October) and they have confirmed that Osborne's book maps 100% to the tested material...they just ask you (nearly) twice as many questions. So maybe you need the book twice as much! ;)

In any event, Osborne's Press study guide is the only test prep book currently available for the CCNA exam. It's the only book that is based on tested classroom experience: Global Knowledge Network is CISCO's largest training partner. Each book goes through 2 stages of technical review with by professional trainers. Look for books on the 4 required exams on Cisco's CCNP sylabus to be available through Amazon in early January.

The book is selling amazingly fast for a Certification that is still only a few months old. The second printing is underway...and yes, we've updated the testing information. You'll also find a a place on the Syngress.com web site to post any accuracy questions as well as find updated information and errata listings.
