“WORKS REPLICA” 1979 CCM 580cc 4valve, Quaife 3speed Gearbox, Fox Air Shocks.
This one is number 29 of 30 works specials supposedly ever made and has the Original magnesium crankcases, forks, hubs and yokes. The fuel tank, wheel rims, and handle bar clamps are gold anodised.
There are NO cracks or welds to the cases or NO bashes to the frame. Has a crack in the lower right fork leg clamp that could be welded, and two small fins broke from the head which I still have that can be welded back on. This bike has some surface rust but has been sat in my dry garage for 23 years and it still Starts!!!. Although when I first had it I had the engine stipped and had new clutch, main bearings, gudgeon pin, P/rings, valves and rocker bushes etc.. the rest was in perfect condition (But would need a service before you used it now). I did have a Maico 490 front end (sold) on it but change it back to the Original one. I used it for tarmac hillclimbs which was the ideal bike, winning the 750cc championship in 1985.
This is a RARE Opportunity to purchase this Beautiful Classic Bike, as you will probably not find another in this Original unrestored Condition.
