New Bike forces the sale of my trusty CBR 1000 F
First the good bits: less than 26,000 miles I got her from my best friend with 21 k in 2003
New genuine Honda : exhaust system, new front brake discs & pads, new rear suspension unit Good Metzeler tyres that really suit the Honda, new MOT until May 2008, New battery and new headlamp assembly.
The bike is totally reliable, rides well & corners great, me & the Mrs used it for Sunday's on nice days and race meets, without any problems since 2003.,
The bad bits: she is not in the best condition bodywork wise, not bad enough for me to have it plastic welded , a small crack on the O/S side panel, the fairing has in the past been bodged as fastners have broken ( cosmetic stuff ) the paint on the wheels is flaking, the seat is getting a little frayed on the edges and a few scratches that you would expect on a 17 year old bike. But this isn't enough to worry about, I have just bought a new bike so she has to go .
This is a great bike for anyone that wants a cheap powerful bike with loads of useful grunt that won't scare you to death but put a smile on you face.
The bike is not taxed, I haven't yet declared it sorn
There is no reserve, no buy it now price, it's an auction to buy a great bargain not to kick tyres and re-negotiate after the auction ends ( yes I have had traders try this ) I have tried to be as honest as I can, if you need extra photo's or anything just e-mail me
