SOLD IN AID OF WHINNYBANK CAT RESCUE GROUP - FIFE, SCOTLAND. Millie Fund. Millie is approx 9 years old and an active cat for her age. She eats well and especially likes tuna in brine for a treat or a wee bit ham. Millie is used to being an outdoors cat and using a cat flap to go in and out of the house. She is a hunter and often catches mice & voles etc and eats them so she has to be regularly wormed. Past health: About 5 years ago Millie was shot in the face with an air gun and had a pellet removed from her cheek during surgery. No implications since. 2 years ago - Rotten back tooth removed under anaesthetic. Last year - Treated for tapeworm but has been wormed regularly since then to keep at bay. Millie is a lovely friendly cat. Millie needs a home so if you are in the Fife area please consider her. There is nothing particularly unusual about Millie’s story and fortunately for the group she has needed relatively minimal veterinary costs. I thought for once I would use a cat who is pretty and is well, just older and therefore harder for the group to home. Her fund will be used to buy everyday items that the group needs – no luxury items just basic cat food, litter, cleaning materials etc.
Homemade Catnip Bee: Cats just love anything which contains catnip and these bees will bring hours of delight to cats and kittens. Each hand knitted bee contains a good pinch of dried fresh catnip and not a small block as is common in many shop bought toys. Available on or off elastic. The toy measures is stuffed with toy stuffing. The price shown is per Bee either on or off elastic, though I can supply large orders. The colour may differ from the photograph. If you would like a picture of a catnip bee, please email me and I can send it through to your personal email. I make hundreds of catnip toys each year and they are extensively used by the Adel and District Cats Protection Group (Leeds), Canalside Cat Rescue (Leeds), Ellesmere Cat Rescue and Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary, in Fife, Scotland. I supply each of these groups free of charge and they home each cat or kitten with one of my toys, which helps the cat or kitten settle into their new home. If you purchase 5 items or more in a single purchase I will give a free mouse. For all multiple item purchases I give a discount on p&p. In total, since December 2005, I have made donations to:
The Adel and District Cats Protection Group (Leeds): General donations - £601.00. “Hector Fund" - £250.00 towards the £2,000.00 bill for operations on a blind cat. "Lula Fund" - £170.00 towards the bill for an amputation on a road traffic accident cat.
Canalside Cat Rescue (a small group in Leeds). General donations - £300.00.
Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary, Fife, Scotland). KT Fund - £300.00 towards vat bills. Sabrina Fund - £300.00 towards vet bills for cat with severe skin complaint. A Massive Thank you! |
