IT IS A SQUARE CUSHION  COVER WITH A ZIP CLOSURE AT THE BOTTOM.
FRONT AND BACK MADE FROM THE SAME SPOT FABRIC IN THE STONE COLOUR.
I HAVE BEEN THINKING FOR A WHILE NOW TO MAKE A PRACTICAL ITEM TO REPLACE THE USUAL BIRTHDAY CARD AND WHEN I SAW THIS VERY PRETTY REPRODUCTION OF A VINTAGE POSTCARD, THE WHITE DOVE WITH A BEST WHISHES CARD TIED IN A LOOSE BOW AROUND HER NECK COULD NOT RESIST THE TEMPTATION TO BUY THIS FABRIC BLOCK WITH BLUE FORGET- ME -NOTS, BIG PINK CABBAGE AND OPEN ROSES.
THIS IS GREETINGS AND A VERY PRETTY GIFT ALL IN ONE!
THE PRETTY PICTURE IS FRAMED WITH A VERY SPECIAL PIECE OF LACE FROM NOTTINGHAM, MADE ON THE SAME MACHINES THEY USED IN THE 1800 - SO VERY SUITABLE TO EMBELLISH THIS CUSHION WITH........I WANTED TO CREATE SOMETHING OF DAYS LONG GONE BY...........

THE CUSHION COVER WILL TAKE A 16"X16" INNER.
