A 6 inch diameter ships bell in cast brass. The overall height, including the bracket, is 8 inches, about 20cm. The weight of this bell is 900 grams, about two pounds; you will find similar looking bells that sell at less, but they are usually lighter and have a tinny sound. This bell is not to SOLAS/Lloyd's Register standards, but is suitable for use on inland or coastal craft (where regulations do not apply), or if you are unable to hear your doorbell above the noise generated by your kids, this may be your answer! It would also help at closing time if you have a pub.The bell has a cast brass clapper and a braided lanyard. It is attached to a brass hanging bracket which can be wall or ceiling mounted with three fixing holes. It is new and boxed.
