CASSINI ENLARGED HISTORICAL OS MAPS for FAMILY HISTORY

Cassini Maps (formerly Timeline Maps, some sheets are published under this name) is a company specialising in sourcing, scanning, digitally enhancing and re-publishing historical maps in a variety of formats. Their aim is to produce maps of the highest quality which are also relevant to current-day research needs.

A central feature of the Historical Map series is that the originals have been combined, re-scaled and re-projected exactly to match Ordnance Survery's modern-day Landrangers®. They even have the same map identification number and the same British National Grid references. This enables direct comparison of the past and present in a way not possible with maps of different specifications. They are the same size as the Landrangers® when open or folded and have a similar laminated colour cover.

Whether you're a local historian, a genealogist, a student, a walker or someone with a general interest in the history of your area, these maps will be a valuable addition to your library.
