The Carl Lewis MOTC99 Treadmill 

Features include a calorie counter, body fat analysis, heart rate monitor, six pre-set programmes and capacity for one manual programme.

For anyone looking to get fit and/or lose weight this is a good place to start,It has enough to keep you motivated to reach your goals with its programmes, although the top speed of 8mph may start to seem a little less challenging after a while.

Another plus for the novice runner unused to the trials of running is its cushioned running deck. This will reduce the stress on joints and feel more comfortable than road running. If currently overweight this is also a big benefit.

It does have two incline levels to add a little extra to your training but it does have to be altered manually which means you have to get off to change the setting - a bit of a pain in the middle of a run.
