This is a mid grade copy. Very strong, fresh paper: cover pages are white, interior pages are off-white. Both staples clean and solidly attached. A couple of barely visible folds at top right corner which do not break colour. Some tiny signs of handling at right hand cover edge (these are not tears). A few pencil marks at top of back cover and a small tear at the top of spine on the back cover (see scans). Some light evidence of water staining at the foot of book. Clean, fresh appearance. A great-looking copy of a Golden Age classic! Final grade: VG+ 4.5.

This comic comes from an original owner collection characterised by the way above average paper condition. Completely free of any browning or tanning, these books are strong, supple and can be read and handled without fear of damage.
