CAPTAIN FIELD’S BOXWOOD  & BRASS NAVIGATIONAL RULE

A superb Captains Field’s boxwood navigational parallel rule with brass fittings. It is 21” (53cm) long and 3” (7.5cm) wide. The thickness of the wood is ¼” (6mm). It is in excellent, undamaged condition with all of the numerals and lettering intact and clean, sharp edges. The left hand bottom corner is embossed with ‘Made in England’ and ‘Capt. Field’s Improved’ There are a few blemish spots/stains  commensurate with use may be ink and a small inscription on the back of the rule.
