Description

A small, light and powerful video light for indoor and outdoor use. Rated at 10 watts, it accepts a Lithium-Ion battery pack for power and attaches to the camcorder's accessory shoe. Compatible with the Canon GL2, HV10, HV20, XH A1, XH G1, XL2, XL2 Body Kit, ZR800, ZR830, and ZR850.

Also compatible with: DC100, DC21, DC40, HV10, MV600, MV600i, MV630i, MV650i, MV6iMC, MV900, MV930, MV950, MV960, MVX10i, MVX150i, MVX3i, MVX450, MVX460, XL1s (list may be incomplete---check with Canon if you questions about compatibility with your exact camcorder).

Note on battery: If you wish to use it on battery power rather than through the hot shoe, you must purchase a separate battery or use your camcorder's spare battery if it is compatible. It uses the same batteries as the XL1, XL2, GL1, Gl2. The light comes with instructions that clearly list the models of batteries that work with it. There are even inexpensive third party batteries widely available.
