Using both the 3 metre pole, and 12 foot float rod with an open-faced spool reel, Mark catches a good net of small roach, perch and gudgeon from the slow flowing canal.

Detailed instructions are given for the best rigs, floats and methods to use for this type of fishing and Mark is shown mixing his groundbait on the bank. Correct methods of loose feeding with groundbait and squatts are also shown, fishing both the 3 metre line and close to the far bank with the reel and running line.
