ABOUT THE TOPPER

The Rose & Ribbons Spray was designed by Alison of Icing On The Cake in Staffordshire and is made entirely by hand to a very high standard. These little sprays measure approximately 6" (15cms) from the tip to the end of the stem. If you are interested in having a colour not shown in the Ebay shop please email me as most colours can be made.

Icing On The Cake is Department of Health Registered and has been awarded the top rating of 5 stars.

HOW TO USE THE TOPPER

All you have to do to use the spray is to either place it on the top of your cake or to stick it in place with a little icing sugar. The spray is suitable for 4” / 6” / 8” / 10” / 12” cakes in any shape.

POSTAGE

If you would like to buy more than one item please request an invoice total BEFORE paying so that I can combine the postage as much as possible.

All orders are sent by 1^st class recorded delivery. This means they're scanned when they're taken to the post office and scanned again when they're delivered. They are not trackable en route. If your order does go missing in the post I will provide a replacement if there is time before your celebration or a refund if not. Please note that all orders must be missing for 7 DAYS before a replacement or refund can be made. If the worst happens and your order does go missing I'll do my best to fast track a replacement to you.

If your dispatch date is close to your celebration date you may prefer to pay for the courier service if you live in Mainland Britain or the Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery Service if you live elsewhere in the UK. Please request an upgrade and you will be invoiced for the difference via Paypal. All European deliveries are sent by Airmail.

DAMAGED ITEMS

It is very rare for an item to be broken in the post. However if damage does occur , the order must be returned back to Icing On The Cake for a replacement or refund.

The refund will only be given when the damaged item has been returned.

I’ve listed below all the most frequently asked questions - they should answer most queries. However if your question isn’t listed here please don’t hesitate to email me. Emails are only answered Monday to Thursday. The workshop is VERY busy on Fridays and Saturdays and closed on Sundays so please be patient!!!!

Echeques If you need your order in a hurry please don’t pay by Echeque!	You may pay by Echeque - but please note that even though the money has been debited from your bank account by Paypal it can be 10 days or so before I receive the clearance email from Paypal. Please note that orders will not be despatched until I receive this email.

Environmental Issues	Icing On The Cake uses recycled food-grade packaging wherever possible.
How will I know my item has been sent?	I always try to email you at your own email address to let you know your item has been dispatched. If you don't receive this email around your dispatch date please check your spam/junk folder in case it has been diverted there.
Can the wired toppers be eaten?	No as they have been wired. You should never eat anything which has had a wire inserted.
If I buy loose edible items e.g. sugar daisies or stars - how long will they last for?	All edible items leaving the workshop will have a use by date of at least 3 months. The date will be clearly marked on your order.
If I order a spray of roses/flowers - how long will they last for?	They can’t be eaten as they are wired so they will last for a few years as long as they are kept in the correct conditions. Sprays need to be kept out of sunlight and away from other heat sources and also kept out of steam, damp rooms and away from insects.
Do you combine postage?	Yes I can combine postage wherever possible. If you are purchasing more than one item please request an invoice and I will do the calculation at my end as it isn’t always possible to combine everything into one - it depends upon what you order and how it needs to be packaged.
Will my order get broken in the post?	Very unlikely. Each order is carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and then placed in a ridged plastic container before being posted to you in either a padded jiffy bag or box depending upon what you have ordered. Please see the returns policy in the listing above.
Is the glitter edible?	Yes the glitter is edible but only on unwired items.
Why can I only have 30 characters in a personalised message?	Usually 30 characters is enough for most messages. However you can have more if you want but there is a small extra charge. If 30 characters isn’t enough please email me with your requirements before ordering.
How does the wired topper fix to the cake?	Each “burst” topper has the wires inserted into a food grade posy pick which is safe for you to insert into your cake. You should remove the decoration before cutting the cake.
Are you registered with the Department of Health?	I am registered with Cannock Chase District Council and have been awarded the top rating of 5 stars.
How long have you been doing this?	Since 1991
I’ve got an idea for my own topper for my wedding/celebration cake - can you make it for me?	I’ll do my best. You need to send me a photograph or a link to a website and I’ll see what I can do. However, please be aware that making bespoke toppers takes longer sorting out the design and making it - so please leave plenty of time - at least 2 months.
Do you match fabric samples to icing colours?	If you can send me a fabric sample (it only needs to be a small piece of fabric) I’ll do my best to match it up.
Can I collect the item in person?	Sorry no. Due to heavy workload and deliveries I don’t allow collection of toppers even if you live nearby.
