Up for auction a super 1999 Cagiva River 600cc single that I bought as a stop gap between big sports v twins. I have to say that I’ts been a great little bike to own - however purchase of a new sports bike means no space in my garage - so unfortunately she has to go. With this in mind the reserve is set low - so here's your chance to bag yourself a real bargain!
The River is a great looking, economical and versatile bike that is equally at home commuting, riding out on the weekend or touring - factory panniers and a Givi top box are also included in the sale.
She has many quality parts/features such as Marzocchi upside down forks, monoshock at the rear, Brembo brakes, factory fly screen and Renthal anodised bars.
The good bits:
• 12 months MOT
• New Battery
• Recent chain & sprockets
• Plug/filters/oil recently changed
• Front wheel bearings replaced at MOT
• New mirrors
Not so good bits:
Very few actually - few marks on the paintwork, some storage marks on the panniers and a bit of flaking on the wheels and engine (see pics) - and that's about it!!
All in all a very reliable fun bike and something a little more stylish than your usual run of the mill Japanese bikes.
