This is an extremely rare circa 1920s period Dunlop Tyres 'As British As The Flag' advertising bookmatch case.It is made of brass with an engine turned pattern beneath a translucent green enamel top and a raised and detailed union jack and tyre design that was used extensively by Dunlop in that era.Inside it has been richly gilded in a bright gilt and it is in a very good condition with no enamel damage and measures 4.5cm wide x 5.8cm tall x 1cm deep.
