The new HIGHWELD CUT 40 professional
inverter plasma arc cutter 40A 230 volt 1-phase with non-contact HF ignition.

The device generates a plasma arc which
effortlessly cuts through any electrically conducting metal. Normal compressed air is used for cutting.
The cutting speed attained ensures a high level of productivity. The operating costs for air plasma are very low. There is no material distortion through
heat, as is the case with cutting disks. The clean
cut often means that no reworking is necessary.
Metal wastage is minimized.

The new HIGHWELD CUT 40 inverter plasma arc cutter offers state-of-the-art technology in the
minimum of space. A parting cut of up to 12 mm in steel means that all metals can be cut effectively.

The device is controlled by an inverter control
system. The resulting unique characteristics,
such as high speed and control precision,
allow the device to cut with an outstanding level
of quality.

The MOS-FET inverter system also enables a tremendous reduction in weight and volume for
both the transformer and compensating resistor.
We have therefore succeeded in developing a
device weighing less than 9 kg (in contrast to
previous comparable devices of 50 to 60 kg),
and which does not need a 3 phase power current connection like comparable devices.
