Each insert is independently refillable, which means you can finally have one notebook for different uses - ruled, plain and squared paper all in one. The cover is made from a type of flexible, yet hard plastic. We've shock tested this smart little pad to the limit and despite being bent in half, the cover showed no sign of strain. Each C.OVER PAD insert has 64 pages, so that's a total 192 pages (96 leafs) that can be divided amongst up to three paper types as you prefer. A very handy feature is that the second half of each insert is perforated, so pages can easily be taken out when needed. In terms of thickness and quality, the paper is similar to that of a Moleskine, and while wet ink can be used, expect some some showthrough to the other side (again about the same as a Moleskine). We found the PAD to be a useful addition to our notebook collection - functional and still aesthetically pleasing.
